What the Lead Performance Index Measures
The Lead Performance Index measures provider-level lead quality over time. It reflects how consistently a provider delivers leads that meet independent verification standards across contact validity, data freshness, and delivery consistency. The index is not a measure of a single lead or a single submission. It is an aggregate built from recurring verification data across multiple rating periods.
How Trestle Verification Works
Trestle is an independent data intelligence company that verifies individual leads, checking contact validity, data freshness, and delivery consistency. LeadPI uses Trestle verification data to build provider-level index ratings.
How LeadPI Aggregates Data
LeadPI aggregates Trestle verification results across every batch a provider submits over time, building a provider-level performance record from the accumulated data. A provider who submits consistently over multiple rating periods builds a more complete index than one who submits infrequently. Volume and frequency both factor into the aggregate rating.
Buyer Experience Reviews
Buyer experience reviews are submitted by registered LeadPI buyer accounts based on direct sourcing experience. Reviews are weighted alongside Trestle verification data as a factor in the Lead Performance Index. They capture dimensions of provider quality that verification data alone cannot measure: responsiveness, fulfillment reliability, and real-world conversion experience. Review content is not independently verified by LeadPI.
The Performance Credential
Providers who reach a qualifying Lead Performance Index threshold at the close of a rating period receive a LeadPI performance credential. Three credential tiers reflect different index thresholds: Verified, High Performer, and Elite Performer. The credential is issued quarterly and reflects the provider's index at the close of each period. Buyers can confirm credential status and review the underlying index data directly on the platform.
Rating Periods and Quarterly Renewal
The Lead Performance Index is calculated on a quarterly basis. Each quarter constitutes a rating period. At the close of each rating period, the index is recalculated based on the verification data and buyer reviews accumulated during that period. Providers who reach the qualifying threshold at the close of a rating period receive a credential for that period. Providers whose index falls below the threshold in a subsequent period do not carry a credential for that period.
